Privacy notice
How PakistanTaxi.com handles overseas booking, account and payment information.
Version 1.1 · Last updated 16 October 2026
PakistanTaxi.com is a storefront for people arranging Pakistan travel from overseas. It belongs to The Sakunder Group trading as PakistanTaxi.com; it is not a separate overseas company. The same operator is responsible for the information covered by this PakistanTaxi.com notice and the central booking service. PakistanTaxi.com’s parent and operating company is iDrive.pk, which publishes its own privacy notice for visits to its separate website. For this storefront, email bookings@pakistantaxi.com with “PakistanTaxi.com privacy request”.

Planning from abroad
When you type a Pakistani pickup or destination, Google place services receive the text needed to suggest locations. The selected places, route, Pakistan-local departure date and time, service and vehicle choices are processed through our parent company’s central booking system to return a price or an individual-quote route. We do not automatically read your device's precise location to do this. A search result is not a driver assignment. The central system may retain quote and provisional basket records; leaving a browser tab or allowing a quote to expire does not necessarily delete those records. Hosting and security services process IP address, device/browser and request details for site operation and abuse prevention.
If you make a booking request, we process the booker's name, email and international contact number, each journey's exact locations and time, passenger/luggage and service needs, vehicle choices, extras, accepted terms/version, basket reference and supplier-arrangement status. A multi-vehicle or multi-journey basket retains each line separately. If you arrange travel for family or another adult, provide only necessary passenger details with proper authority and share this notice where appropriate. A child's travel details should be supplied by a parent or person legally entitled to arrange the service. We may need to tell a passenger about information received indirectly, rather than relying only on the booker to forward this page.
An enabled wheelchair-accessible quote form may ask practical information about boarding, transfer from a wheelchair, access to pickup/drop-off and assistance needs. Such details can reveal health or disability information. If a dedicated accessibility form is available, read its explanation of the purpose and the separate privacy choice or other applicable condition before submitting details. Access is limited to staff and a prospective supplier who need it to assess suitability. No wheelchair vehicle has yet been physically inspected by us for ramp or restraint suitability; submitting details does not reserve one. Please do not send diagnoses, medical files, payment-card numbers or passwords by ordinary email.
Account, payment and communications
When account features are used, we process protected password hashes, email verification and recovery evidence, sessions, security logs and bookings available to that account. Stripe handles card details, authorisation holds, captured payment and refunds. We retain amount, currency, status, payment/booking IDs and reconciliation records but do not ask you to email full card numbers or security codes. An authorisation hold is not a completed charge. We use your email or phone to administer the booking, provide receipts, resolve changes and respond to a complaint. Optional newsletters require their own choice; a service message is not marketing.
Where UK data-protection law applies, we use requested pre-contract steps and performance of our booking service for the booker's journey; proportionate legitimate interests for security, support and arranging travel for a passenger who is not the contracting customer; and applicable legal duties for records. Optional marketing and non-essential device storage rely on consent where required. Processing accessibility data requires both an ordinary lawful basis and a separate special-category condition explained at collection. We do not infer that a booker can consent for an unrelated adult.
Recipients and international processing
Our parent company’s central booking service handles this brand's customer, search, booking and operations records. A prospective or assigned independent driver, fleet or hire supplier receives only information needed to assess or provide the agreed service, such as itinerary, passenger contact and relevant accessibility needs. A search is not broadcast as an accepted job. Google processes relevant place/route queries; Stripe processes payment information; Hostinger hosts the services and email. Professional advisers, insurers or authorities may receive relevant information where lawful. Suppliers may independently control the data they need for their own service. They do not receive your full card details or unrestricted account access.
Planning from overseas does not mean the data stays in that country. Staff and suppliers in Pakistan and technology/payment providers in other countries may process relevant information. Restricted transfers under UK law require an appropriate transfer route, safeguards and assessment. Ask us for information about the arrangements relevant to your details.
Retention, storage and rights
Necessary browser/session storage supports the basket, sign-in, language and security. An expiry for a quote, cookie or session does not erase every server, payment or audit record. We keep information according to the need to provide the service, answer support, reconcile payments, prevent misuse, meet applicable records duties and handle disputes; information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised subject to a valid hold. Contact us for the criteria relevant to your record. Optional analytics or advertising storage requires the applicable notice and choice; a necessary basket cookie is not such consent. Browser settings can clear storage but may reset a search or sign-in.
Where applicable, you may seek access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to certain uses. You may object to direct marketing at any time. A consent-based choice may be withdrawn prospectively, subject to lawful limits. We may verify a requester before disclosing another person's booking. Where UK law applies, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office without coming to us first. Contact bookings@pakistantaxi.com for your request. We date material revisions and provide further information before materially new data use.
